Welcome to the official website for the Heart of England

Welcome to Visit Heart of England

The Heart of England Region covers: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country. Situated in the middle of the country, visiting the Heart offers the opportunity to discover what really makes England tick.

Coming soon - we will be adding Places to Stay and Attractions in Cotswolds, Cherwell & West Oxfordshire.

Use the quickfinder below to find an inspired attraction or event suitable for short breaks and days trips. Don't forget that many of our attractions have discount vouchers to download too.

The Heart of England is so easy to get to being at the centre of England's road network and with international airports at Birmingham and Coventry. Birmingham has recently undergone substantial regeneration and offers a world-class cultural scene as well as superb shopping.

Take some time to visit the Cotswolds - beautiful countryside dotted with honey-coloured villages with limestone cottages - or historic Stratford-upon-Avon. The typical English landscape of the Malvern hills is delightful. Discover film locations for Harry Potter and places that inspired the likes of Tolkien, George Eliot and William Shakespeare. We can show you cathedrals, ancient and modern, Jewellery Quarter and Cadbury's Bournville.
