The Firs is ideally situated for both sight-seeing and for those who whish to explore the countryside of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire. For aficionados of the composer and his works there is an Elgar trail including parts of the Malvern Hills which was his inspiration for many of his compositions.

Walking along the summits of the Malvern Hills is in itself an attraction of the area as is the Malvern showground on which is held the Three Counties Show and the Spring and Autumn Shows. Malvern also boasts a magnificent theatre and concert hall together with an arts cinema. It is also the home of the Morgan sports car which is still manufactured in the town.
