The Consumer Society is really quite a recent construct, and it is even more recently that it has begun to be studied and reflected upon to any degree. The 'Land of Lost Content' Museum reflects it like no other place you will ever visit. It is Grandma's attic and a technology graveyard rolled into one. Get on your chopper bike or skateboard, or get behind the wheel of a Morris Minor and make your way through the picturesque countryside of blue remembered hills to the Old Market Hall in Craven Arms. Hire a chara banc and bring a party with you and pay due respect to the amazing collection of popular culture that recalls how it was 'back in the day'. The day before yesterday! with a spark of poetry.

Stella's installations bristle with nostalgia - Schooldays, Food and Drink, Holidays, Film, TV & Radio etc. You will see all we enjoyed and all we endured. (allow plenty of time, it may take longer than you think!)

'Icons Cafe' is on the upper ground floor and can be accessed independently of Museum entrance - snacks, cakes and light lunches are available.

The following are pre bookable for groups societies and private parties - Scone tea inclusive visits. - evening visits to the museum at £10.00 per head inclusive of food and quiz.
