Oddsocks theatre company is returning to Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge this summer with their own inspired interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy, Julius Caesar. Suitable for all ages, the outdoor evening performance starts at 7pm on The Green on Sunday, 15th July.

The company has 20 years experience delighting audiences with their unique approach to Shakespeare's plays and trademark family friendly, madcap, slapstick style. Bringing British culture and comedy together, the most famous political coup in literature is given the Oddsocks treatment.

Rome's creaking coalition is under strain as the nation's sporting games is held to honour Emperor Caesar. Will the games be an expensive disaster? Will the liberal Senators succeed with their infamous assassination? Will Caesar's stinking plebs be revolting? This open-air production will engage summer audiences with a heady mix of Shakespeare, jokes, audience participation, live music and lots of Roman-style comedy.

Join the Oddsocks fans who enjoy a great night out with this hilarious company who bring a feel good buzz to every classic they perform.
