Close to Eardington and 2 miles from the historic market town of Bridgnorth, a short drive from Ludlow and the beautiful towns of Bewdley and Much Wenlock. There is lots to see and do when you holiday at Bentley Lodge Astbury Fallls A short drive from golfing at Bridgnorth and Highley so you can vary a golfing break. Near to Chelmarsh and local pubs. Access to the Jack Mytton Way for walking and also horse riding. Sailing is also available on the Chelmarsh reservoir. In the old mining village of Highley (5m) there is a modern Leisure centre where you can swim in the heated out-door pool, play bowls, badminton or tennis or enjoy the fully equipped gym. Back in historic Bridgnorth you can follow the remarkable town trail, shop in the weekly market, take the funicular railway between the upper and lower town, walk by the river Severn feed the swans, stroll in the castle gardens or eat in one of the many local pubs and restaurants. Directions
By Road
From Bridgnorth, there is a turn soon after the Severn Valley Railway into Oldbury Road. Take this road and the next left keeping the river to your left into The Cankhorn where you should see Astbury Falls signposted. Follow the road under the flyover and up the hill passing The Swan pub (another great place to eat) on your right. Enter Eardington village and proceed onward. As you exit the village, you will see open farmland to your left and pass a quarry on the right. The next right turn down the brow into Astbury Lane will bring you to Astbury Falls electronic security gates on the left.
