A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our newly built holiday accommodation Acorn Lodge. Set in 7 acres with abundance of wildlife, excellent views across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Wales. Acorn Lodge is substantially built with spacious rooms, double glazed and centrally heated throughout with wood burning stove for extra special cosiness on chilly winter evening. Ample parking adjacent to Lodge with level access on to wooden walk way and inside the lodge. The doors are wide with no steps. All electrical fitting are easily accessible

First en-suite bedroom with king size bed, bath with shower, hand basin, toilet

Second en-suite bedroom with twin beds or super king bed, with walk in wet room shower, hand basin, toilet and chair.

Both bedrooms have hair dryers. Various hand rails in bathroom and wet room.

Kitchen is well equipped with ceramic hob, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, toaster, iron and ironing board plus all necessary accessories for your convenience. Dining area with table and chairs

Lounge with sofa bed, two high backed armchairs, radio, free view TV, DVD player and video, nest of tables.

Extended decking area with outside storage, swinging seat, picnic table and two benches. Automatic outside lighting.

Our very own descriptive walks and rides with maps directly from Acorn Lodge giving you a unique opportunity to sample our local countryside of outstanding natural beauty.

Many extras included in the letting fee, to name just a few, Bed linen, towels, gas & electricity, logs and home made welcome pack.

Acorn Lodge is 6 miles to Ludlow, 4 miles to Tenbury Wells, 3 miles to Post Office and general stores.

A booking is secured by a deposit (non-refundable or can be transferred to another date) and the balance is payable on arrival. On receipt our your deposit a letter of acknowledgement with directions will be made. Arrival time after 3pm depart 10am. or by special arrangement.

By Road

From Shrewsbury - Ludlow A49, turn at sign for Kidderminster, A4117 approximately 4 miles turn right for Knowbury, passing through the hamlet of Farden. At T junction turn right and then left at Knowbury crossroads into Hope Bagot Lane passing Bennetts End Inn on your right, the entrance to Thomas House and Acorn Lodge is approximately 500 yards on the left. You cannot see the properties from the road.



From Hereford - A49, turn right at the sign for Ashford Carbonel, Caynham and Clee Hill. Pass through Caynham, Heading for Knowbury. Do not turn at the signpost Whitton and Hope Bagot,( long way round to Thomas House), take the next right at Knowbury crossroads into Hope Bagot Lane and follow the sign for Hope Bagot, passing Bennetts End Inn on your right, the entrance to Thomas House and Acorn Lodge is approximately 500 yards on the left. You cannot see the properties from the road.



From Kidderminster - take the A456, Bewdley and Leominster road, turn right at sign post for Cleobury Mortimer, A4117, pass through the town of Cleobury Mortimer and over Clee Hill after passing over the second cattle grid take the second turn on the left for Knowbury, then left at Knowbury crossroads into Hope Bagot Lanepassing Bennetts End Inn on your right, the entrance to Thomas House and Acorn Lodge is approximately 500 yards on the left.

You cannot see the properties from the road.



From Worcester - take the A443 and then the A456 to Tenbury Wells, take the B4214 to Clee Hill, after 3 1/4 miles turn left at the sign post for Hope Bagot, follow the road for 3/4 mile and turn right for the Church, follow the road passing the Church, on your left.Continue up the hill and the entrance to Thomas House and Acorn Lodge is the first drive on the right approximately 3/4 mile. You cannot see the properties from the road.
