Beckford Silk is a unique rural workshop where printers, designers, dyers and colourists work together to produce hand printed silk and velvet fabrics that are made into scarves, ties and garments that are sold world-wide.

Most of the work carried out at Beckford is in the production of scarves and ties for UK and European museum shops and galleries. The National Gallery, The V & A, The Royal Academy of Arts, The Swedish Royal Palaces and The Kunsthistorisches Museum (Vienna)are also customers. Beckford Silk is also involved in printing fabric for high fashion customers as well as designing and printing for a number of clubs and corporate customers such as Morgan Motor Company, The Garrick Club and Archers Addicts.

Visitors to Beckford Silk are welcome to watch the printing and are free to wander through the print shop, dye room and past the sewing area. There are information boards in the main print shop that explain the process, however visitors are encouraged to ask questions of members of staff as they work. The retail and 'seconds' shop offers a wide range of silk scarves and ties as well as designer clothing and accessories, at prices between wholesale and normal retail. The Coffee Shop serves delicious freshly cooked light lunches and refreshments. There is a large car park adjacent to the entrance.
