As you walk in Shakespeare's footsteps through the historic town, see the Shakespeare Houses, Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, 15th century timber framed buildings, Shakespeare's School and much more. The guided walk includes a visit to Holy Trinity Church to see Shakespeare's grave in the Chancel (small fee payable to the Church on the day). The Chancel visit is optional and subject to church opening times. Guides tell fascinating stories of fires, flood, plague, medieval cures, old fashioned sayings and history of the town, all wrapped up with a little Shakespeare. Walk from the bottom of Bridge Street, along Waterside towards the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, keeping the gardens and canal basin to your left. The guided walks start opposite Barnaby's fish & chip shop at the junction of Sheep Street, by the Swan fountain (2 silver swans on the top)

By Public Transport

Stratford upon Avon train station is a 10-15 minute walk from the walk meeting place.
