Visit the childhood home of Shakespeare's mother, Mary Arden, and discover the fascinating story of this charming farmhouse.

Step back in time to the 1570s and experience what life was like for a farming household in Shakespeare's time at neighbouring Palmer's Farm. Watch the period interpreters, dressed in replica Tudor clothing, perform a wide range of activities from hand-milking sheep, cooking over an open fire, baking bread, dipping tallow candles…and much more.

Follow the nature trail and track down the Longhorn Cattle and other rare breeds including Cotswold Sheep and Gloucester Old Spot Pigs.

Tudor themes weekends of music, dancing, cooking and rural festivities all through the year.

Take the A3400 from Stratford to Birmingham. Approximately 2 miles from Stratford follow signs to the left for Wilmcote and Mary Arden's Farm which can be found on the right-hand side in the village.
