Welcome to Ashford Farm, just 3 miles from Ludlow, the perfect base from which to explore the Welsh Marches.

Shropshire, the undiscovered county, was described by P G Wodehouse as 'the nearest earthly approach to paradise' and the jewel in the county is Ludlow, a gastronomic delight with its Michelin starred restaurants and excellent pubs. The imposing castle is a reminder of the town's historic importance. Still an active market town, its half timbered buildings and fine Georgian houses cannot fail to impress. ‘Has there ever been a visitor to Ludlow who hasn’t wished they lived there?’ – Jeremy Paxman, 2009.
