Jackfield Tile Museum is a former world centre of the decorative tile industry. Visitors can see a unique collection of the companys superb wall and floor tiles as well as watch them being made. The charming Victorian gas-lit galleries and period room settings give you a superb view of how these highly decorative tiles were made and sold to the Victorian gentry here in Jackfield. You'll walk through a country church, shop and tube station and see where some of these tiles ended up. Following a multi-million-pound restoration project, visitors can see new galleries, demonstrations by skilled craftspeople and attend tile-decoration classes.
