Monk's Barn Farm, situated 2 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon, offers delightful bed and breakfast accommodation. Dating back to the 16th century, the farm lies along the banks of the River Stour. The attractive house, now modernised yet preserving the old character, offers first class amenities and is within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds

Just a few minutes, drive from the town centre, Monk's Barn Farm offers an ideal location to explore Stratford-upon-Avon, the Warwickshire countryside and many of the famous Cotswold villages. The Farm provides a high standard of accommodation: each room has ensuite facilities and is well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, TVs and central heating. There is ample parking and our rates include a full breakfast served each morning in our stylish dining room. Additionally, we have a self catering property - it has easy access being all on the ground floor and is centrally heated - comprises of a Kitchen/Diner, Lounge, General bathroom and a bedroom (Twin/Double) with "en suite" facilities. All towels. linen and utilites included. Short breaks available.

Visitors can take a very pleasant riverside walk to the nearby village of Clifford Chambers and enjoy good pub food at the local Inn. A footbridge crosses the Stour, taking the walker past the Manor House, which from the Norman Conquest to the Reformation was occupied by a community of monks. This has given rise to the name of our farm today.

By Road

Exit M40, exit junction 15 onto the A46. Within 2 miles bear left onto A439. When entering Stratford on the ""one way"" system, keep in the left hand lane and cross the river bridge. Pick up the A3400 south. Leave the built up area, straight on at the roundabout and Monks Barn is one mile out on the right.

By Public Transport

Pick up the service 50/50X outside MacDonalds in Bridge Street, or the Cancer Charity Shop in Wood Street and ask to be taken to Atherstone Turn. Once you alight from the bus, walk back on yourself for 200 yards and Monks' barn is on your left.
