Former dairy, stable and barn now stylish, comfortable accommodation for an active family or a group of friends/family. Bookable separately or together.

Situated in the picturesque Teme valley on a working farm, Plum Tree Cottage, Wain House and Mooncroft (named after a field on the farm) are sympathetically restored former outbuildings ready to offer a restful retreat to any holidaymaker. Each has its own fenced garden/patio with outdoor furniture in the summer, while they share an open lawn with a barbeque.

The 800 acre farm has a variety of footpaths and bridleways for local exploration, and its own fishing lakes, one of which can be fished by the guests. There is a 9 hole golf course easily reached walking. Further afield there are the Malvern Hills and the rolling countryside of the Welsh Marches to savour - the Clee Hill, the Goggin, the Long Mynd and the Wrekin all within a short drive.

For the history buff the cities of Hereford and Worcester are nearby, as is the town of Ludlow with its added attraction of having the largest number of Michelin-starred restaurants per head of population outside Paris. For the music lover Elgar's birthplace is close by and the concerts of Three Choirs Festival enliven the summer. Warwick with its medieval castle and Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon will satisfy the culture vulture (about an hour's drive) as will the beauty of the various National Trust properties and English Heritage houses and gardens like Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Witley Court etc. in which this area abounds.

Racing punters can follow their sport on the Cheltenham, Hereford, Ludlow and Worcester racecourses. For those with youngsters, Severn Valley Railway and Bewdley Safari Park offer a good day out.

Nearest pub and restaurant are 1½ miles, shopping, restaurants and take aways of Tenbury Wells, its tennis courts and swimming pool 3 miles, mountain bike hire, 10 miles.

2 twin, 2 double bedrooms all with bath and shower are downstairs; open plan, spacious, well appointed living room, kitchen and dining area upstairs. One sofa converts to an extra double bed. French doors open onto a balcony with charming views over the farm and beyond. Exposed beams and a fireplace add to a congenial atmosphere.

Plum Tree Cottage

Entry Hall, comfortable sitting room with a wood burner, a well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom. A sofa bed can convert into extra sleeping space.

Both properties have full oil central heating, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher (M). Colour TV, video & CD player, books and games.
