Welcome to our Self Catering Apartments in Ludlow, Shropshire. The building, dating back to 13th Century, was owned by Theobald de Verdun, Lord of Ludlow but over the centuries has accommodated many trades, notably a haberdasher, a baker, a peruke-maker, a hairdresser, a grocer, The Three Tuns Tavern, an ironmonger, wine merchant, outfitter, fishmonger, a fruiterer and until recently a bank. The present owners, who also own The Silver Pear, a small contemporary department store within the building, have lovingly restored the property over the past four years, much of which was derelict above the first floor, and have provided apartments of the highest standards and luxury. We have been awarded the prestigious Gold Award by Visit England f0r 2010 and 2011

You will enjoy and experience a self-catering break in the heart of historic Ludlow.

On arrival at the apartment, you will be greeted by a bottle of white wine in the fridge and one of red in the kitchen to ease the recovery from your long journey.

During your stay you can shop at your leisure in our award winning store, The Silver Pear, and you will be entitled to 10% off all your purchases.

Our accommodation comprises two self catering apartments – “The Theobald de Verdun” and “The Cashel”.
