Explore the newly refurbished British Motor Museum – home to world’s largest collection of historic British cars - from the very first Land Rover to Lady Penelope’s FAB1.

Experience the sights, sounds and stories of the British motor industry and get ‘under the skin’ with our interactive exhibits.

Take a walk down the 'Time Road' and discover how motoring and family life has changed through the decades as the cars are brought to life by costumed explainers and free guided tours.

Get a ‘behind the scenes’ insight into how we store and preserve our vehicles in our new Collections Centre, with over 250 cars from both our reserve car collection and that of the Jaguar Heritage Trust to explore. View our restoration work underway in our new historic workshop.

There is also an onsite café serving hot and cold meals and snacks, an outdoor play area, and free parking.

Plenty of entertainment at the British Motor Museum this half term!

Visitors to the British Motor Museum are invited to get creative this half term from 21 – 29 October. They can draw, paint, stick and colour with a number of art-based workshops which run from Monday to Friday. Part of the ‘Fantastic for Families’ national art campaign, these fun activities are sure to entertain the whole family!

The British Motor Museum can be easily reached by following signs off Junction 12 of the M40. The centre is situated off the B4100 on the Banbury to Warwick road within half a mile of Gaydon village.
