Situated on the High Street with its back garden overlooking the 11th Century church, this charming Victorian townhouse is in the centre of Church Stretton yet only a few minutes’ walk away from the Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley and the surrounding Shropshire Hills. The six guest rooms are tastefully decorated and individually styled with careful attention to detail and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Guests are asked to check-in between 2pm and 6pm on the day of arrival and to vacate their rooms by 11am on the day of departure unless alternative times have been arranged by prior agreement. Free 24-hour car parking passes are available at Reception for the Shropshire Council car park which is literally across the road from Victoria House.

Directions
By Road
From the A49, turn into Church Stretton at the traffic lights. This is Sandford Avenue. Travel to the end of this street and you will arrive at a T-junction. Turn left and you are in the High Street. Victoria House is a few hundred yards along on the right-hand side, just past the Buck’s Head pub. When you arrive you can collect a 24-hour car parking pass from me which allows you to park your car in the Easthope Road council car park while you are in Church Stretton. This parking is across the road from Victoria House.
By Public Transport
Church Stretton train station is 500 yards from Victoria House. If travelling from Shrewsbury, walk up the stairs and over the railway bridge to the other platform. Make your way out of the train station and follow the directions into town from Sandford Avenue as above.
