For total family entertainment visit the award-winning Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Enjoy Europe’s first Ben 10 rollercoaster. Ben 10 is a hugely popular children’s programme, broadcast on Cartoon Network, which follows the adventures of 10-year-old Ben Tennyson, who is able to turn into a variety of alien superheroes, each with unique powers, thanks to his mysterious Omnitrix watch.
Drayton Manor’s 150-bedroom hotel allows visitors to stay overnight and make the most of their time at the park, including discounts for second-day tickets. The hotel also features Thomas & Friends™ themed rooms.
Drayton Manor also has Europe’s only Thomas Land™, which features wonderful themed rides and attractions based on characters, including Thomas the Tank Engine, Cranky the Crane and Harold the Helicopter. This year, Thomas Land will become bigger and better than ever with the addition of a new family-friendly ride, Blue mountain Engines.
For the more adventurous, Drayton Manor offers thrill-seekers some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around, including the incredible G-Force roller coaster; Shockwave, Europe’s first stand-up roller coaster; and Apocalypse, the terrifying drop tower ride.
Meanwhile, those who prefer more serene surroundings can enjoy exploring the zoo and see over 100 animal species from around the world, including big cats, monkeys and primates, as well as penguins and various reptiles.
