LOCATION/ VILLAGE OF IRONBRIDGE

We are situated in the historical village of Ironbridge, central to all the museums and Blists Hill Victorian Town.

The Inn is set in its own grounds, in a prominent position with spectacular views of the river severn and the Ironbridge gorge, giving customers a superb location for their visits to all the museums in the area.

Step back in time and walk on the first Iron Bridge to be built in the world that spans the river Severn, which is also the longest river in Great Britain. The source of the river severn is Plynlimon Wales and discharges into the Bristol Channel.

OUR HISTORICAL 1774 INN

We run our Inn, how an Inn should be run in a historical village. NO DISCOS, NO KARAOKE, NO LATE NIGHT MUSIC AND NO LATE NIGHT DRINKING FOR NON-RESIDENTS. As many of the other accommodation Pubs in our village do have these facilities.

So if you stay with us, according to our visitors’ comments book, you will be served excellent food and enjoy a good nights’ sleep, so you will arise bright eyed and bushy tailed to visit our wonderful historical museums.

DINING

We have an excellent menu with a choice of 15 starters, 38 main courses from steaks, lamb, pork, gammon, chicken, mix grill, home-made steak in ale, chicken curry and many other spicy dishes, 5 fish dishes, full vegetarian menu and Sunday roast, finally but no least step back in time for our Spotted dick, treacle and Jam sponges.

Many of the local guest houses in Ironbridge recommend us to their guests as we have built up an excellent reputation for local dining over the past 26 years. We also have a 5 star dining rating and a 5 star hygiene rating.

HALF BOARD/ BED BREAKFAST AND EVENING MEAL OFFERS

We also offer an excellent half board option at a set price. Your evening meal has a choice of 12 starters, 30 main courses and 12 desserts. This offer is the most popular with our guests, as over 75% of our bookings are for half board.

Also depending on time of year you can get 3rd night free (November –March)

ACCOMMODATION/ BEDROOMS

All our rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities, full size t.v.’s, radio alarm clocks, tea and coffee facilities, plus room controlled radiators, full sized beds with memory foam mattresses and comfy chairs and views of the river.
