Group of restored hedged gardens with delightful summerhouses overlooking Warwick racecourse used as a retreat by people living in the town in Victorian times. Large glasshouse and unusual varieties of trees, plants and vegetables.

Directions
By Road
Main access is from the racecourse car park off Friars Street(A4189) in Warwick. Bear right and the gardens are on the right hand side after passing the modern flats at Bread & Meat Close. There is free parking for two hours and disabled parking outside the gates to the gardens.
There is a pedestrian only access from the town centre off Bowling Green Street via the car park for the flats in Martinique Square.
There are bus stops in Friars Street and in Bowling Green Street

Lord Leycester Hospital
Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, and a favourite of Queen Elizabeth I, converted the picture-book buildings of the dissolved Warwick Guilds into a retreat for old soldiers and it has continued to serve that purpose until the present day.

Bridge House Theatre
Bridge House Theatre is a major venue for the Performing Arts in Warwickshire. Designed by Michael Reardon, architect of the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, and officially opened in 2000 by Dame Judi Dench .

Collegiate Church of St Mary
Set in the heart of Warwick Town Centre, the Collegiate Church of St Mary’s is a must see attraction. Famous for its incomparable Medieval Beauchamp Chapel. With superb stained glass, Medieval and Tudor Tombs, including Robert Dudley a favourite of Elizabeth 1, crypt, 14thC chancel and upper chapter house.
