The Bidford on Avon Big Meadow is open for FUN!
The Riverside Recreational Meadow, known as The Big Meadow, in Bidford-on-Avon will be opening for its 2012 summer season on Sunday 1st April 2012.
For just £2.50, visitors can par their car on the Big Meadow and enjoy a full day by the River Avon. There is also a great new play area, which caters for young people of all ages, and includes a Netscape, MUGA and skate ramp.
It will also be hosting a Vintage Gathering Event the weekend of 12/13 May.
Crossing the ancient bridge brings you to the High Street where they can visit the shops, enjoy lunch or tea, visit Bidford’s Conservation Area, which includes the Parish Church of St. Laurence, built in 1286 AD, which offers a beautiful view to the south.
