No.1 Shakespeare Street presents Chart topping 70s American singer/songwriter and pop-icon Dean Friedman, is performing on Monday 7 July 2014.
Best known for his classic hits, Lucky Stars, Lydia, McDonald's Girl, Ariel and Woman of Mine, Friedman is touring for 40 dates in the UK, Ireland and France starting 6 July. He will be promoting the release of his compilation album earlier this year, Dean Friedman - Words & Music, a double CD collection of 28 tracks, including several of Friedman's classic recordings and favourites.
He will be performing with his new band The South Street Fusion Project, a trio of musicians which includes his son Sam on keyboards and harmonica, and two of his son's friends - Kiri Orenstein on drums and Chris Talio on bass, who have all been playing together since their teens.
Tickets: book via www.shakespearestreet.co.uk £22.50 advance £25 on door. Door opens 7.30 pm and on stage 8.30 pm upstairs. Main bar open from 12 noon. Food serviced till 8.30 pm
