St George's Day Mummers, Merriment and Masquerade
Saint George and the Dragon Weekend
Saturday 22nd April – Sunday 23rd April: 10am – 5pm (from 1.30pm Sun)
Celebrate our patron saint's day by training at squire school to become a knight's apprentice and creating a mask to wear during our Mummers play, set within a 17th Century living history camp with The Worcester Militia.
'Fight for Saint George' activites during the Easter holidays:
• Tuesday 18th April: 11am and 1.30pm
Learn more about the English archer and bow, with archery demonstrations and a chance to make your own arrow. (£2 per craft activity)
• Wednesday 19th - Friday 21st April: 10.30am and 1.30pm
Come along and join in our Have-A-Go-Archery and then make your own arrow!
(£2 for 5 arrows with tuition included)
• Tuesday 18th – Sunday 23rd April

Follow signs to Worcester city centre, then turn left at traffic lights by Worcester Cathedral to nearest car park. The Commandery is located across the main road to the right. There are two Pay and Display car parks opposite the building on King Street and Commandery Road.

By Bus - First Midland Red buses run through Sidbury from Bath Road, London Road, City Walls Road and the City Centre.
By Train - Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill station are both 1km from the Commandery.
