These Autumn foraging courses will take approximately three and a half hours. We’ve had a great time there for the last couple of Autumns so we’re looking forward to coming back.

This course is a simple foraging walk where we expect to be able to identify a selection of edible and poisonous mushrooms and plants.

We will meet at the Farmers Arms just north of Ledbury at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

Then we’ll set off for roughly a 2.5 hour walk around Wellington Heath and the nearby woods identifying what we find, we will take the best mushrooms back to the Farmers Arms to taste afterwards.

We will provide a wild food based light lunch somewhere along the walk, probably some nice warming wild mushroom soup, plus some of our home made Elderflower Champagne.

We expect to find numerous different types of mushrooms to identify on this course, which we know is a lot to remember. So after the course we will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.

There are limited spaces available so please book your place online.
