Shiver me timbers, Pirates are coming to Hatton this half term!

Hatton Adventure World is to host a special Pirate Festival from 27 May – 4 June. The popular family attraction is inviting budding Buccaneers, Long John Silver’s and Captain Jack Sparrow’s to enter a world of hidden treasure, skulduggery and pesky pirate antics during the Whitsun half term!

We’re looking to spread the love at Dudley Zoological Gardens over half term as we celebrate Love Your Zoo Week!

From Saturday, May 27 until Sunday, June 4 we’ll be encouraging visitors to love DZG as much as we do through lots of love-themed activities. We’re aiming to spread the message about our conservation, education and research work with some of the rarest animals in the world, which we’ve proudly been carrying out for 80 years!

With so much to see and do, there is something for everyone to enjoy and experience this May half term.

Peg planes and trench talk

May half term is almost upon us and during this school break the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has planned a week of wartime nostalgia to keep the younger members of the family entertained. Taking place from Saturday 27 May to Sunday 4 June, visitors are invited to join in a fun flying themed craft activity and wartime trail, suitable for children of all ages.

Historic heroes themed activities and workshops at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums for super days out - Spring half-term 27th May – 4th June

The events are part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s 50th anniversary celebrations, which will continue throughout the year.

Enjoy extended opening - Enjoy dusk at Dudley Zoological Gardens as we extend our opening into the evening.

On Saturday, May 13 and Saturday, June 17 we’ll be remaining open until 8pm (with last entry 6.30pm) and visitors will be able to enjoy additional animals talks and feeds, Go Wild! shows and watch a birds of prey display.

An evening of glitz and glamour is in stall next month when Warwick Racecourse hosts its hugely popular twilight fixture. The Think Pink Warwick Ladies Night is the second instalment of the Warwick May Racing Carnival and is set to attract another bumper crowd on Saturday, May 13.
