HMC acquires model of the MG record breaking car EX135

HMC acquires model of the MG record breaking car EX135

The Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon has recently acquired a unique silver model of the MG record breaking car, EX135. EX135 was the first car with an 1100cc engine to exceed 200mph, when famous racing driver Major ATG ‘Goldie’ Gardner claimed the record in Germany in 1939. The car itself is already part of the collection at the Heritage Motor Centre.

200,000th visitor opens Humboldt Highway at Dudley Zoo...

We had a fab Bank Holiday Monday with more than 3,750 visitors on site! And we also saw our 200,000th visitor officially open Humboldt Highway, a new £30,000 high-level timber walkway linking Penguin Bay and the upper road adjacent to the recently-refurbished Reptile House.
