Ragley Battle Proms raises £8,986 for Combat Stress

A record crowd of 7,000 invaded Ragley for the 5th annual Battle Proms open air picnic concert on Saturday night, enjoying a breath-taking display by the RAF Falcons parachute display team followed by a carefully choreographed Spitfire display to the dramatic Nimrod by Elgar, performed by the New English Concert Orchestra and conducted by Douglas Coombes.

Ironbridge Artist in Residence sets out to solve the Mystery of the missing portraits

Faye Claridge has been appointed as Artist in Residence at the Darby Houses, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums at Coalbrookdale, Shropshire. Her six-month residency will feature research, workshops and her own creative work as she sets out to solve The Mystery of the Missing Portraits.

Famous MacLaren supercar on display at the Heritage Motor Centre!

Visitors to the Heritage Motor Centre can now see the famous MacLaren MP4-12C! The MP4-12C was launched in 2011 and was McLaren's first production supercar since the Formula One of the 1990s. Using McLaren's extensive experience of Formula One technology, the 12C makes use of carbon fibre resulting in a very lightweight and fast car, with a top speed of 207mph.
