Art in the Gardens: August 19th – 20th A Weekend Festival of Arts & Crafts

9th August 2017

The Victorian hedged gardens at Hill Close, overlooking Warwick Racecourse, provide the perfect setting for a lively weekend of Arts and Crafts. Working from the brick-built summerhouses and lawns of these 16 garden plots, a wide range of artists and craftspeople will demonstrate their talents and run workshops for adults and children.

Visitors of all ages can appreciate the skills of painting, poetry, music, literature, ceramics, printing, woodcarving, spinning and weaving, textiles and quiltmaking. Or they can simply kick back and enjoy the surrounding flowers, fruit trees and vegetables. So, join us in celebrating the joys of our artistic heritage.

Refreshments will be served in our traditional tearoom overlooking the gardens. There is also a large greenhouse and plant sales area.

Hill Close Gardens, Bread & Meat Close, Warwick CV34 6HF. 11am-5pm.

Entry Adults £4.00 Children £1 (Under 5s, HCGT and RHS members free). Tel. 01926 493339.
