Celebrate Royal Jubilee And Team GB
30th April 2012
Join creative workshops at Coalport China Museum, near Ironbridge during the half-term and celebrate HM The Queen’s Jubilee and our own Team GB, who will be taking part in the London 2012 Games.
On Monday and Friday you can decorate ceramic mugs with the national flowers of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you can create your own clay masterpiece.
Every day you can paint your favourite blooms on paper plates, or decorate plaster figures or handmade bone china flowers; varieties will include roses, thistles, daffodils and shamrocks.
Sessions will take place daily from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm between Monday 4th and Friday 8th June. Activities carry an extra charge in addition to the museum entrance fee; mugs will need to be fired and collected or sent home later (p&p extra).
Open 10am to 5pm Coalport is one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. A great value Annual Passport Ticket allowing entry into all ten museums, valid for twelve months and unlimited return visits, costs £23.25 per adult, £18.75 for the 60 plus, £15.25 for students and children and £64 for a family of two adults and all their children aged up to 18 years in full time education (terms and conditions apply); under 5s free.
