Murder Mystery Evening at BEST WESTERN The George Hotel

Our popular Murder Mystery evenings allow you to put your investigative skills to the test and enjoy an evening of murder, mystery and intrigue, courtesy of Murder Mystery Productions. The story of ‘The Richards Saga’ will unfold during dinner and it will be up to you to work out “whodunnit” by questioning the characters and examining the clues. The evenings are great fun, but, be warned, they sell out frighteningly fast! Check the website for each individual show.


Stage Productions presents Cats at The Regent Theatre

On just one special night of the year, all Jellicle cats meet at the Jellicle Ball where Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, makes the Jellicle choice and announces which of them will go up to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. Cats, one of the longest-running shows in West End and on Broadway, received its world premiere at the New London Theatre in 1981 where it played for 21 record-breaking years and almost 9,000 performances. The production was the winner of the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Musical. In 1983 the Broadway production became the recipient of seven Tony awards including Best Musical, and ran for eighteen years. Since its world premiere, Cats has been presented in over 26 countries, has been translated into 10 languages and has been seen by over 50 million people world-wide. Both the original cast recordings won Grammy Awards for Best Cast Album.

This spooky tour lasts one and a half hours and takes you on a scary and thrilling tour of Lichfield's gruesome and bloody past. See the Guildhall Cells where prisoners were keep before their terrible fate on the gallows, hear about the ghostly apparitions in the Cathedral, Erasmus Darwin House and many other locations across the city. To calm your nerves afterwards the tour finishes with a warming glass of.mulled wine and sausage roll in one of Lichfield's historic pubs.
